Directions to Fenns Farm Accommodation, Butterton

Finding us is all part of the pleasure of arriving in the Peak District.
Fenns Farm is peacefully located on Wetton Road in the village of Butterton, within the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
​
Our countryside setting feels wonderfully quiet and tucked away, yet we’re still within easy reach of scenic walks, charming villages, and many of the Peak District’s most loved attractions.

Arriving by Car
Most guests choose to travel by car so they can explore the surrounding countryside during their stay.

From the north or south, follow main routes towards Ashbourne, Leek, or Buxton, then continue on local roads towards Butterton.

When you reach the centre of the village, with the pub and church, drive east on Waste Lane then turn right onto Wetton Road, after 250m Fenns Farm will be on your left.

Clear arrival information and parking details will be provided before your stay to make your journey as smooth as possible.
Driving through the Peak District is a lovely experience in itself, so we always suggest allowing a little extra time to enjoy the views along the way.

Arriving by Train
The nearest train stations are:

Buxton (28 minutes' drive)

Matlock (37 minutes' drive)

Stoke-on-Trent (39 minutes' drive)

Macclesfield (42 minutes' drive)
From any of these stations, a short taxi journey will bring you to Butterton and Fenns Farm. Booking a taxi in advance is usually the easiest option, especially for later arrivals.

Arriving by Bus
Unfortunately there are currently no bus routes into Butterton village.
