Foggs’ Barn is nestled within our traditional farmyard at Fenns Farm, just a short walk from the conservation village of Butterton and close to the peaceful Manifold Valley in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

Carefully converted in 2019 from an eighteenth-century cattle barn, this charming stone holiday cottage in the Peak District blends historic character with the comfort and convenience of modern self-catering living.

Warmth, Comfort and Character
​
Inside, exposed stonework celebrates the barn’s heritage, while underfloor heating beneath the natural stone-flag floors creates a wonderfully warm and cosy atmosphere throughout the ground floor. A working log burner adds extra comfort on cooler evenings, with logs available to purchase locally if required.

Flexible Space for Families and Groups

The cottage comfortably sleeps six guests, with space for a seventh using an additional folding bed.
Bedrooms can be arranged as three super-king doubles or six single beds, making Foggs’ Barn ideal for families, friends, and small group holidays in the Peak District.

The spacious living and dining room includes two comfortable four-seater sofas and two additional chairs, along with a large extendable dining table.
When Fenns Barn and Foggs’ Barn are booked together, this table can seat up to fourteen guests, creating the perfect setting for shared meals and celebrations.

Outdoor Space and Farmyard Setting

Outside, guests can enjoy a private seating area and lawn, ideal for relaxing in the fresh Peak District air.
There is also ample on-site parking for cars.

Add a touch of extra relaxation to your stay with your own private wood-fired hot tub​ (additional cost of £100)— perfect for unwinding beneath the Peak District skies.
Please note: Foggs’ Barn is a pet-free cottage.
