Wills Bunk Barn is a traditional stone field barn, thoughtfully and lovingly converted into welcoming bunk barn accommodation. It’s the perfect choice for guests who want to enjoy nature and simplicity, while still having the comfort of shelter, warmth, and practical facilities.

Surrounded by open countryside, the barn enjoys stunning views across this peaceful and unspoilt part of the Peak District National Park, inviting you to slow down, explore nearby walking routes, and truly unwind.

Simple Living with Warmth and Character

At the heart of the barn is a rustic log-burning stove, providing both heating and a traditional way to cook. Cooking pans, utensils, plates, cutlery, and mugs are all provided, allowing you to prepare relaxed meals during your stay.

To make things easier, the barn also includes:

A microwave, toaster, and small electric kettle

A small camp stove for additional cooking flexibility

A copper whistling kettle for hot water

A small electric blow heater for cooler summer evenings when you may not wish to light the stove
The open-plan living and dining space creates a cosy place to gather, with a comfortable sofa and a chunky wooden dining table where guests can share meals and conversation after a day outdoors.

Sleeping Arrangements

Wills Bunk Barn can accommodate up to six guests in a flexible and sociable layout:

A single day bed with pull-out trundle, which can be arranged as a double

Two bunk beds with privacy curtains separating them from the living area
Pillows, duvets, and covers are all provided, so you can settle in comfortably after a day exploring the countryside.
Washroom and Outdoor Evenings

The recently refurbished washroom includes:

Outside, a picnic bench and campfire area invite you to spend relaxed evenings under the stars — one of the simplest and most memorable pleasures of a Peak District countryside stay.

As Wills Bunk Barn is located on a working farm, dogs are not permitted.
Additional guests may be accommodated in tents by prior arrangement and at an extra charge — please enquire before booking.

To help you settle in comfortably, your stay includes:

A small welcome pack with milk, biscuits, tea, and coffee

Essentials such as toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid, hand wash, shampoo, and conditioner

Bath towel for each guest, plus a kitchen towel, dish cloth, and sponge

One bag of logs included for a two-night stay
